Tourism Matters to Montana overall goal is to educate the general public about the power of tourism. We want the current 4% bed tax collected by lodging businesses in Montana to remain intact so the MT Office of Tourism, Regions, Convention and Visitor Bureaus and other key partners can continue to promote our state as a travel destination thus ensuring the state’s 2nd largest industry remain healthy and continue to bring new revenue to our economy.
